Machine Operator – Print Finishing / Bookbinder (m/f/d)

At Elanders Print & Packaging you will work with cutting-edge print finishing technology and play a key role in turning printed sheets into high-quality products. As a Machine Operator in Print Finishing / Bookbinder, you will set up, operate and monitor machines to ensure that books, brochures and packaging products are produced efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Your Tasks

• Industrial book production using perfect binders and book lines
• Operation of machines such as Müller Martini Vareo and Kolbus
• Setup and adjustment of binders based on job specifications
• Ongoing production and quality control
• Book cover manufacturing
• Operating thread sewing machines, folding machines and cutting systems
• Identifying and resolving quality issues
• Maintenance and servicing of equipment
• Supporting colleagues from other departments during peak times

What makes you stand out

• Several years of relevant experience in (print) production
• Ideally trained as a Print Finishing Technician (Bookbinder) or Machine and Plant Operator specialising in paper and post-press
• Skilled with your hands and good colour vision
• Quick learner, reliable, and able to work independently
• Flexible, committed and quality-driven
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends if required
• A true team player with motivation and cost awareness
• Good written and spoken German
• Basic IT skills
